Wickes Triple halo Spotlight Plate Product No. 700149 (White / Brass Metal Construction Only)
It has been brought to our attention that the instruction accompanying the above light are ambiguous and may lead tot he light being installed in an incorrect or unsafe manner.
The instructions state that the light does not require an earth connection. Although this is the case for the plastic lights, the White / Brass metal spotlight must be earthed for safety purposes.
Wickes advise all customers who have purchased a White / Brass metal spotlight from January 2000 that under no circumstances should the light fitting be touched unless installation of the fitting was carried out by a fully qualified electrician.
Customers who have purchased a White / Brass metal spotlight from January 2000 are requested to contact the following Freephone Helpline number 0800 0851 323 to arrange for the installed lights to be inspected on site and rectified as necessary.
