PRODUCT RECALL : SCHNEIDER STEAM IRON
MODEL NUMBER SCEG 01-C1400/2
Despite rigorous quality control procedures it appears that a proportion of the above irons bought after September 2001 fail to meet ASDA's quality standards. In some cases, there could be a fault with the cable.
The iron was on sale in all ASDA stores and has a dark blue and white casing. The model number SCEG 01-C1400/2 appears clearly on the base of the iron.
As a precautionary measure, ASDA is asking customers to stop using the irons and to return them to their nearest store for a full refund or replacement. ASDA apologises for any inconvenience caused.
No other products on sale at ASDA are affected.
