BRAUN ELECTRIC HAIR CURLING WAND RECALLED
Highland Regional Councils Consumer Protection Department have received information regarding a Braun Quickstyle Compact LS 30 electric hair curler, type number 4565 and batch numbers 712-804. The type number can be seen moulded on the handle whereas the batch number is stamped on the same plate as the double insulation symbol. A fault in some may cause a breakdown of the insulation between the curling barrel and the heating element.
If any person owns a Braun curler of this type and batch they are advised to return it immediately to the trader from whom it was purchased. Alternatively, it can be sent to Braun at D. and A.C. Stringer Packaging Limited, Freepost, Erith, Kent, DA8 IER a free superior type of curler will be received in exchange. No other Braun curlers are affected.
