To all owners of Qualcast Power-Safe RCD's purchased with serial number with an A, B or C prefix in the ranges of;
295,000 - 317,000
350,000 - 362,000
The Qualcast Power-Safe is a residual current device (RCD) it is designed to protect in the event of an electrical leakage.
Our suppliers have discovered a small quantity of this product which may not cut off the electricity supply quickly in the event of an accident.
The serial number is located on the underside of the Power-Safe. If you have one of the RCD’s in this range of numbers stop using it immediately and please contact our Consumer Helpline on:-

N.B. Remember all portable RCD's should be tested before use.
