NORDIK D20 DESK FANS: RECALL NOTICE ISSUED

The Company Vortice Ltd has issued a press release in respect of the following problem with their Nordik D20 (8 inch) Desk Fans:

Defective speed control switches have been found on a small percentage of Nordik D20 (8 inch) Desk fans, with the manufacturing code date 01/90. This could cause excessive heat build up.

Purchasers who have a Fan with this number (shown on the sticker under the base) are asked to ensure that the fan runs properly and oscillates when switched to speed position Two.

If it does not, it is possible that the speed control switch is defective and the fan should be returned for repair to:
