An important safety notice for owners of Black & Decker cordless lawnmower battery chargers. This issue does not affect the lawnmower, only the charger.

We have identified a rare but potential safety problem with our cordless lawnmower chargers which under certain circumstances could pose a risk of fire. Our recall programme is to replace the chargers supplied with all of the following mowers:

GRC730 - Rotary Lawnmower / GFC2438 - 4x4 Lawnmower

GRC750 - Rotary Lawnmower / GFC1234 - 4x4 Lawnmower

GRC450 - Rotary Lawnmower / GFC1238 - 4x4 Lawnmower

The correct model number can be found on the label on the front of the lawnmower or in the instruction manual enclosed with the lawnmower.

If you own one of the above lawnmowers you should:

1. Stop using the charger Immediately

2. Contact our customer service line for a free replacement charger

or

Complete and return the coupon below for a free replacement charger

Chargers for all other Black & Decker products are not affected.
