A heated pet mat 220v 15w or 20w depending on mat size, 50Hz fitted with a 2 pin plug that comes in a variety of patterns. The Product is wrapped inside a clear cellophane cover bearing Chinese writing.
Person will be unaware of internal cable fault due to poor quality solder joint/twisted cables; the person receives an electric shock and may be electrocuted. The product therefore does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations.
The equipment is fitted with an illegal plug for use in the UK. The user plugs the 2-pin plug into a three pin adaptor that is not suitable for use. The product therefore does not meet the requirements of the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations.
If the un-fused plug is plugged in overnight, an electrical fault may develop and equipment can catch fire.
