PHILIPS & BAUKNECHT
DISHWASHERS
Owners of certain "Philips" and "Bauknecht" brand dishwashers are advised that a combination of unusual circumstances may occur in the electrical system of the units possibly creating risk of fire in the appliance.
The products concerned, manufactured during the period 1986 to June 1989, can be identified by the grey colour of the detergent dispenser on the inside of the door panel. The above possible hazard does not apply to dishwashers with a white coloured detergent dispenser.
Owners of such dishwashers are asked to telephone the following Free Phone number 0800 592671.
Arrangements will then be made for service staff to visit, inspect and modify your product free of charge if required. Please only use the dishwasher when in attendance, until it has been inspected by an engineer.
No other Philips and Bauknecht products are affected. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your co-operation.
