Warning: Important Safety
Safety check of Loewe CRT televisions manufactured from 1999 to 2001 as well as TVs by AHB.
Product safety and reliability are Loewe's top priority. During the course of routine quality inspections it was determined that CRT TVs produced during the period from March 1999 to October 2001 may be defective at certain soldered joints which may lead to overheating of the appliance and in the worst case may represent a fire hazard. Only CRT televisions with 100 Hz technology by Loewe as well as sets by the company AHB are affected.
To avoid any risk to our customers, Loewe advises that these televisions be inspected by an authorised specialised dealer as a precautionary measure. The affected soldered connection will be examined and resoldered. This precautionary safety check has been carried out for the past three years on all repairs at the Loewe shop.
We recommend that you have the safety check performed as soon as possible and do not operate the set until then.
