Important safety announcement

If you Have a Sharp 14 inch colour television, purchased between August 1997 and March 1998, which has one of the model numbers shown below, please take the following urgent action.

Models: 37DM23H and 37DT25H

These models were also sold in other countries under the following model numbers: 37DM23S / 37DM23FP /37DM24S / 37DT25S / 37DT25FP / 37AM12SC / 37AM23IR

As a result of careful monitoring of the quality of our products we have discovered a potential problem. It has been found that a certain component inside the television could fail, and in very rare instances may cause mains voltage to be present in the antenna and Euro-SCART sockets located at the back of the television.

The model number and the serial number can be found on the label which is attached to the back of the television. Please note: No other Sharp products are affected.

If your TV is one of the above models: PLEASE DISCONNECT IT FROM THE MAINS SUPPLY AND DO NOT USE UNTIL IT HAS BEEN CHECKED.
