To Purchasers of the following Sanyo CD, Radio/Cassette recorders.

ALL OF THE FOLLOWING MODELS

MCD-ZX300F, MCD-ZX700F, MCD-ZX390L

AND MCD-Z81F with serial numbers from 09501 to 23000

Sanyo have identified a problem with the 13 amp MAINS PLUG fitted to the power cord supplied with the above four models of Sanyo CD, Radio/Cassette recorders.

The rear case of the 13 amp plug may separate from the 3-pin base when being pulled out of a mains socket. This could expose live contacts with the risk of an electric shock.

If you have one of the products described above please take the following action

1. Switch off the power at the mains socket before removing the plug.

2. Disconnect the power cord from the CD Radio Cassette recorder.

3. Call our Free phone CUSTOMER CARE LINE on 0800 600 888 for a free replacement power cord.(Please be ready to state the model and serial number of your product when you call).

THE SERIAL NUMBER CAN BE FOUND INSIDE THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT

A replacement power cord will be sent to you together with a pre-paid address label to enable you to return your original power cord.

No other Sanyo products or accessories are affected by this recall.
