Dreamland SAFETY RECALL CONTROLLERS FOR ELECTRIC BLANKETS / DUVETS '9-HEAT SETTINGS CONTROLLERS'
Our rigorous quality control checks have identified a potential component failure within some Electric Blanket Controllers, which could render the product dangerous. This ONLY applies if you have purchased a Dreamland Electric Blanket since 1998.
The ONLY Controllers affected have the following model numbers:
EC 20 EC 40 EC 60 EC 30 EC 50 EC 70
This problem only applies to batch codes of the above controllers which end in 8 or 9, and have the following codes:
198 through to 528 inclusive 019 through to 409 inclusive
If you own any of the above controllers manufactured with the specified batch codes you should:
1. Disconnect from the electricity supply immediately. 2. Contact our customer service line to check if your controller is affected and, if so, details of how to obtain a free replacement controller.
