HOOVER NEW WAVE WASHING MACHINES AND NEW WAVE WASHER DRYERS.

This announcement does not refer to any other product nor does it include the New Wave Plus 5 range.

Our Quality Assurance programme has shown that a minor safety modification needs to be made on New Wave washing machines and New wave washer dryers, to prevent the possibility of wash liquid leakage which may, in a small number of cases, lead to a fire risk.

You can continue to use this machine, but until this modification has been completed these machines should not be operated unattended or left switched on after use.

Only the following models numbers are affected: AC170 AC172 AC174 AC176 AC178 AC180 AC182 AC184 A8666 A8610 A8612 A8614

Additionally only those machines carrying a serial number ending in 60300000 and below are affected by this notice. eg AC18251223124

The serial number may be found on a label located in the door recess and visible when the door is open.

If you have returned a guarantee card or already had a Hoover service call you will be contacted by mail. Arrangements will be made to make the modification to the product free of charge.

However we need to modify all of these machines. If you have one of these products and have not been contacted by mail please complete the coupon below and post it to the FREEPOST address. Using the FREEPOST coupon will greatly assist us, to advise you in due course, of an appointment for a Hoover service engineer to call.
