IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE
Bhs 'Star Lantern' Ceiling Light
If you have purchased a 'Star Lantern' ceiling light fitting from Bhs, please read the following notice.
Bhs has identified a potential electrical safety problem with some of this product and would ask all customers, who have purchased these ceiling light fittings, to telephone Bhs on Freephone 0800 181107 or to contact their local Bhs store. As a precautionary measure, these ceiling light fittings should not be switched on or used.
The diagram shows the style of the 2 sizes of light fitting involved - item number 9525 (small), price £90 and item number 9526 (large), price £100. These were sold in Bhs stores from June 1995. The light fittings have a brass frame with clear glass panels and are of a distinctive 'star' shape. They are suspended from item number the ceiling on a linked brass chain.
As customer safety is an overriding priority for Bhs, we are recalling this lighting product.
It does not apply to, or affect, any other Bhs lighting product. Bhs would like to apologise for the inconvenience that this may cause our customers.
