RECALL: DELL 320SLi AND 325SLi PCs
Dell Computer is recalling around 17,000 computers worldwide. Engineers have discovered that a capacitor on the motherboard of two discontinued models, the 320SLi and the 325SLi, could crack under extreme physical stress.
Should a crack occur, the capacitor may overheat, creating a potential safety hazard. Dell is asking owners to telephone freephone number (0500) 121001 to arrange for a free modification to be made. The Company estimates that the total cost of the repairs may be more than £1 million. Letters are being sent to all registered owners telling them of the recall.
