Servis UK Limited have identified that the on/off button in washer dryers manufactured between June 1993 and January 1995 may be of a type that may not operate correctly on every occasion it is used.
Appliances that may have this button can be identified by the model and serial number which is printed on the label inside the flap of the filter door. The filter door is located on the front of the appliance at the bottom right hand.
Models affected are:
M909W, M909B, M911W, M991W, M991B.
with a serial number starting with any of the following 4 figures:
9322 through to 9352
9401 through to 9452
9501 through to 9505
As a precaution, it is important that you do not use the appliance whilst it is unnatended until our engineer has checked it out, and that it is switched off at the mains each time after use.
