Blomberg have learnt of a potential fault with Fridge Freezers model numbers FFN6248 and FFN4748 produced in December 1993 only and bearing above serial numbers.
It is possible that the motors of fridge freezers bearing these serial numbers could be subject to overheating and failure - there is a potential risk of fire.
The serial number is located on the rating plate which is inside the fridge section of the fridge freezer and can be found by removing the bottom left salad bin.
In the interests of complete safety, all customers who have purchased Blomberg products carrying these serial numbers should ring one of the following Comet special service lines.

Blomberg wish to stress that the potential fault relates only to fridge freezers bearing the above serial numbers and that no other Blomberg fridge freezers are affected.
