Product Recall
Action Man "Special Agent Torch" and Batteries issued with Action Man Comic
Panini U.K. is recalling the torch branded "Action Man Special Agent" and batteries distributed under licence as a free reader offer with Action Man Comic Issue no. 71.
The comic went on sale on 29th January 2002.
There have been reported incidents of leaking or faulty batteries and faulty torches and due to safety concerns identified, it is possible that a number of these products may present a hazard to consumers. As a precaution, Panini U.K. is voluntarily recalling this product.
Consumers are requested to stop using the torch and the plain black batteries that were supplied with the torch (2 x 1.5 volt AA) immediately and call the Consumer Helpline on Freephone 00800 224 27276 for arrangements regarding return of the torch and batteries.
Please note that this recall refers only to the torch and batteries issued as a free reader offer with Action Man Comic no 71. No other Action Man product is affected.
