IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE
REXEL PERSONAL SHREDDERS
Acco are recalling Rexel Personal Shredders Models 40, 90, 95, 100 & 105, distributed since September 1999, if fitted with a "MS" branded power plug.
Model & Serial Numbers are labelled underneath shredder head.
Only machines with "MS" plugs are affected.
A manufacturing fault within the power plug can result in the plug top separating from its base, exposing live connections, and posing a risk of electric shock.
Before checking the model reference and plug type, the power socket must be switched off. If the socket is un-switched, isolate the supply at the distribution box. Remove the plug with care by holding the base and not the top.
If your machine has the suspect "MS" branded plug the machine should not be used.
