IMPORTANT SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT

HEATRAE SADIA SUPREME BOILNG WATER DISPENSER

This announcement refers to: SUPREME Models 14O, 155 & 17O but not to models 185. 215 or any other Heatrae Sadia product.

Our ongoing Quality Assurance programme has shown that a minor safety modification needs to be made to a limited number of the above units. This will extend the operating life of a relay that may otherwise, in extreme cases, lead to a risk of fire.

The only models affected are:
Model Type 140 Serial Numbers 14950 to 25854

Model Type 155 Serial Numbers 9997 to 16779

Model Type 170 Serial numbers 8800 to 13339

The relevant serial number can be found on the data label located on the top grey surface of the product outer-casing. This is visible from above the unit and does not require removal of the cover.

If you returned a Customer Registration Card or have previously received a Heatrae Sadia service call you will be contacted by post. We do however need to modify all relevant products so, if you have one of the affected units and have not been contacted, please ring our FREEPHONE Service line on 0800 783 9673. This line will be open 09.00 - 17.00 Monday to Friday and 09.00 - 12.30 Saturday and Sunday.

In both instances we will arrange a free of charge on-site service visit to make the necessary modifications. In the meantime you can continue to use the product but until modifications have been completed, it should not be left unattended unless the power supply is isolated.
